The Mech: Water is the feature gig of WinterWild’s Water weekend (1 – 2 July, 2017).

Ride the wave at Apollo Bay’s oldest venue, the Mechanics Institute, for the opening night of WinterWild, a celebration of the ocean and all it brings. Andrew Kidman’s film Litmus is not just for surfers, it is a sublime visual essay on the beauty and spirituality of the ocean with Kidman’s live score as backdrop. Soundscape will be provided into the night by The Dirty Three’s Mick Turner and band and The Sound Pebbles. Immersive. Fluid. Beautiful.

So come in from the elements once the Dog Watch is over and enjoy local craft, wines, food and lose yourself in WinterWild: Water at The Mech.
