Feastiality

Chef Peter Ford and international cabaret and theatre provocatuers Finucane and Smith are teaming up to deliver Feastiality, an extravagant performance of food and flesh. Feastiality will bring the foreshore alive with fire cooking and coal blazing for a mouth- watering assortment of beasts and local produce. Peter Ford will be roasting up a smoky storm of pork, venison,and wallaby coupled with root vegetables, a Marseilles- style seafood bouillabaisse and smoked fish on local dark-ale sourdough. With the found, foraged and feral ready to be feasted upon, hungry gatherers will join in as the offerings are paraded to the Mechanics Hall for consumption. Here the feast tables will be piled high and devoured in the formidable presence of Moira Finucane, Maude Davey, Yumi Umiumare and Paul Cordeiro. A complementary whisky cocktail from the Starward Bar will be provided and the evening will finish with a whisky and Mountain Pepper-berry Ice-cream and a Truffle ice-cream churned with liquid nitrogen.

Hosted on Friday August 24 at 7:30pm, the festivities will take place at the Apollo Bay Foreshore and the Mechanics Hall.
